The Get Well Center at WestLake Child Development Center is staffed
by a full time registered nurse and designated to care for mildly ill children
when they are unable to attend their normal classrooms. We provide care for
children suffering from common childhood ailments such as colds, ear infections,
flu, low grade fevers, vomiting and sore throats. We also attend to the special
needs of children recovering from surgery and bone fractures.
Registration:
If you have not already registered your child, simply call
the center and we will mail you enrollment forms or
to download the enrollment packet simply go the bottom
of this page and click on the enrollment packet link.
A
current copy of your child's immunization records is also required. And as always,
you are welcome to visit our center, meet our staff and learn more about the
program.
How does the Get Well Center work?
Once your child is pre-registered you can
call the center when your is ill. Parents should call prior to arrival
to determine if your child meets the medical criteria and to ensure space availability.
Calls received during the night will be returned between 6:30a.m. and 7:00a.m.
the following morning. A visit to the pediatrician may be requested before
being admitted to the center. Space allocation is on a first come, first
serve basis.
